What is AMMONIFICATION?

Ammonification is basically the process of releasing ammonia from amino acids. At the end when only protein remains, soil bacteria acts on it and converts it into the organic matter. It is also known as ammonization.

AMMONIFICATION: "Ammonification is the release of ammonia from amino acid."
