What is APICAL CELLS?

These are the cells that divide fast to form new cells. They have one front and three back faces. Division process always happens on the back faces, never on the front. why the rear faces are called cutting faces.

APICAL CELLS: "Apical cells are found at the apex of an egg in invertebrates."
