What is BEGGIATOALES?

An order of free-living bacteria with relatively large rigid cells which resemble filamentous algae. They move by gliding. Often contain sulfur granules within or on the surface of the cells.

BEGGIATOALES: "Beggiatoales are gram-negative bacteria."
