What is BONE MARROW?

The tissue that fills the cavities in bones, particularly the spongy inner areas. It is composed of yellow fat cells with red stem cells that produce all forms of blood cells for circulation. It is critical in human immunology because it is the source of B lymphocyte maturation and the source of T lymphocytes.
