What is BRUSHED FABRIC?

A fabric that has had its fibers brushed or plucked to protrude from the primary weave. A.k.a. raising, the process generally occurs with machines, rollers, hooks, sandpaper, or similar.

BRUSHED FABRIC: "I can't believe you chose to wear a brushed fabric to the formal dinner."
