A microscope attachment for the rapid and precise measurement of small objects, like cells or particles. The principle is that two images of the object are formed by means which allow the separation of the images to be varied and its magnitude read on a scale. By setting the two images edge-to-edge a very precise setting and then interchanging them, the difference of the scale-readings is a measure of the diameter of the object.
