What is GLOVER TOWER?

A tower of a sulphuric acid plant used to recover the nitrogen oxides from the Gay-Lussac tower, to cool the gases from the burners, to concentrate the acid trickling down the tower, to pardy oxidize the gases from the sulphur burners, and to introduce the necessary nitric acid into the chambers by running nitric acid down the tower along with the nitrated acid from the Gay-Lussac tower,
