What is HAEMORRHAGIC SEPTICAEMIA?

A bacterial disease of cattle caused by Pasteurella multocida and characterized by high fever, pneumonia and oedematous swelling of the skin. A similar disease occurs in sheep. Pasteurella vaccines available. Also bovine pasteurellosis, shipping fever, shipping pneumonia.
