What is RATE OF CRYSTALLIZATION?

Different materials crystallize at different rates when cooled from melt, most markedly in polymers. High-density polyethylene shows very rapid rate but inflexible chains such as polyethylene terephthalate crystallize very slowly. See crystallization of polymers.
