What is T-AGGLUTININ?

Antibody present in the blood of normal persons which agglutinates erythrocytes which have been incubated with neuraminidase or acted on by bacteria which produce the enzyme. This reveals the T- antigen present on erythrocytes but not normally available to react with antibody. The stimulus to production of the antibody may be effete erythrocytes,
