What is APHOTIC ZONE?

part of the ocean where there is very little or no light, generally under certain depth approximately under 1500 meters. Under this depth only light source is bioluminescence. Depth of aphotrophic zone can change according to the season of the year.

APHOTIC ZONE: "The aphotic zone is in the ocean depths where it receives no light."
