What is ARTHUS REACTION?

A type III hypersensitivity reaction mediated by immune complex. It involves deposition of antigen/antibody complexes in the vascular walls, serosa and glomeruli.

ARTHUS REACTION: "The Arthus reaction was named after Nicolas Maurice Arthus, who discovered it in 1903."
