What is ROCKY MOUNTAIN FEVER?

Black fever, spotted fever. A disease, more or less limited to the US, characterized by fever, headache, muscular pains, enlargement of the spleen, and a macular eruption on the skin; the disease is spread by a tick and is associated with infection by a Rickettsia rickettsi. Also blue disease.
